How to Apply

Requirements

​

  • Entering 5th or 6th grade

  • Commit to mandatory extended-day, -week, and -year program

  • Successful completion of the two-week summer Rising Star Program

  • Families of limited economic means (Connecticut Energy Assistance Program or Free/Reduced Lunch) with consideration for other extenuating circumstances

    • Proof of current family income is required for admission

Next Steps

1. Fill out the Online Inquiry Form (if able)

  • Complete our Inquiry Form to receive information about Open Houses and the Admissions Process.

2. Attend one or all Open Houses - RSVP by completing the INQUIRY FORM

  • Thurs. October 17, 2024 5:30-6:30pm

  • Thurs. January 30, 2025 5:30-6:30pm

  • Thurs. March 20, 2025 5:30-6:30pm

3. Complete the Admissions Application. â€‹

4. Provide proof of family income, such as: Federal Income Tax Return (Form 1040 or 1040A); W-2 Forms; Letter from Social Security Office stating amount of your Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • We will not admit students without current family income information.

5. Supply student’s teacher recommendations and current school transcripts and other records

6. Virtual Interview with the student and at least one parent or guardian

  • Completed and submitted application needed before scheduling interview

  • Grace Academy will email you to schedule an interview

​

7. Prospective students are invited to our Rising Star Program 

  • Two week educational program designed to prepare 4th and 5th grade students for full entry into Grace Academy with daily math and language arts instruction along with enrichment activities

8. Final Acceptance Decisions by July
